Job Description

 Roles and Responsibilities: 

As a Scrum Master Manager, you'll act as a servant leader for your team(s) by facilitating clear communication to management and to the team. Our Ideal candidate must be open, approachable, collaborative, and enjoy working with passionate people. You must be proactive in solving problems to help team(s) succeed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Run all scrum ceremonies, including:

o Daily stand-ups in which you will track progress on commitments and seek impediments to remove.

o Weekly backlog grooming sessions with product owner and tech lead in which you will facilitate the improvement and prioritization of stories and other Jira tasks.

o Sprint reviews in which you will ensure presentation and evaluation of completed stories and tasks and account story points for velocity calculation, future sprint commitment, and simple forecasting.

o Retrospectives in which you will facilitate team discussion on how to improve ways of working.

o Sprint planning in which you will drive the construction of the sprint backlog, loading the sprint in accordance with sprint capacity and team velocity (sprint volume) and seeking team commitment.

• Communicate and coordinate with other teams on dependencies to and from the DevOps Tool-chain team.

• Help your team with less technical and more practical matters.

• Facilitate resolution of issues blocking team progress and escalate issues when necessary.

Qualification and Skills:

• Scrum Master Certification.

• Proficiency with Jira and Clickup.

 • Experience in playing the Scrum Master role for at least Four years for a software development team that was diligently applying Scrum principles, practices, and theory.

 • Knowledge and application of various well-documented patterns and techniques for filling in the intentional gaps left in the Scrum approach (example: numerous burndown technologies, various retrospective formats, handling bugs, etc.).

• Knowledge of other Agile approaches: XP, Kanban, Crystal, FDD, etc.

• Awareness and experience with widely successful Agile techniques: User Stories, ATDD, TDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing and Agile Games.

• Excellent communication and mentoring skills.

• Strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
