We are looking for a skilled Taxi App Developer to join our team and contribute to building a world-class taxi application.

Key Responsibilities:

• App Development: Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and high-performance taxi applications for both Android and iOS platforms.
• Feature Implementation: Implement key features such as real-time GPS tracking, fare calculation, driver/passenger matching, payment gateway integration, and ride history.
• Backend Integration: Work closely with backend developers to ensure smooth integration of APIs and databases to manage user accounts, bookings, and other core functionalities.
• UI/UX Design: Collaborate with the design team to create user-friendly interfaces that enhance the overall user experience.
• Testing & Debugging: Conduct thorough testing of the application, identify bugs, and implement fixes to ensure a flawless user experience.
• Performance Optimization: Optimize the app for speed, scalability, and reliability, ensuring minimal downtime and quick response times.
• Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams including project managers, designers, and backend developers to deliver high-quality projects on time.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve the app’s features and performance.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in mobile app development, specifically in building taxi, ride-sharing, or similar mobility applications.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Swift, Kotlin, Java, and React Native.
  • Strong understanding of mobile development frameworks like Flutter or Xamarin.
  • Experience with third-party libraries and APIs, especially related to GPS, maps, and payment gateways.
  • Familiarity with backend technologies and cloud services (e.g., AWS, Firebase) is a plus.
• Knowledge:
  • Understanding of the taxi and ride-hailing industry, including common features and user expectations.
  • Knowledge of app store submission processes and guidelines for both iOS and Android.
• Soft Skills:
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality code.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience working on successful taxi or ride-hailing apps.
• Experience with real-time data processing and WebSocket connections.
• Understanding of data security and compliance regulations related to payment processing.
