Education: BE/B.Tech/ MTech/ MCS 

Experience: 2-5 years of IT experience 

Expected skill set: 

Excellent understanding of object-oriented programming concepts 

Solid programming skills with C#/Java or scripting language like JavaScript 

understanding of software development lifecycle methodologies (Waterfall/Agile/Scrum) 

Understanding of Web Application Architecture, design patterns 

Understanding of Automation frameworks with Selenium + JUnit/ TestNG or Selenium + MsTest/NUnit/xUnit 

Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS & JavaScript is a must 

Knowledge of data interchange tools like JSON/XML 

Knowledge SQL query techniques and the ability to create SQL joins between multiple tables to gather and verify data 

Performance testing experience in BlazeMeter, JMeter. 

Experience with C#, Java, JavaScript and automation frameworks such as Selenium and Cucumber through the field of study, past internships or self-driven projects is a plus. 

Experience in API testing 

Software Testing certifications like ISTQB or equivalent is a plus. 

Software Test Automation course/diploma/certification is a plus.
